Case 2: Male | 65 | Retired school bus driver

2020 – tumour brain and spinal cord – radiotherapy couldn’t walk or speak Eye right side – vision impaired.

2022 may – MRI scan – residual right sided static schwannoma (cells on the nervous system) with perilesional cystic changes. Intramedullary ependymoma

Diagnosis – CP angle tumour, schwannoma

Case Description
02/12/23 - first visit - not speaking, not walking, left sided droop, phlegm, no balance
06/01/2024 - tumour remained, balance improving more controlled, he could bend/more mobility, phlegm had completely gone, he can talk slightly better, vision in the right eye slightly better, no wheezing/tiredness (cured), BP 139/85 , confused/unaware
03/02/2024 - speaking improved, clarity of speech better, can speak in sentences, walking a little more with assistance, waking up during the night, now more aware, right eye vision improved
02/03/2024 - speaking improved, balance also improved, right eye vision 100%, left sided leg - swollen now cured, can walk better but still just fine, he doesn’t have much confidence as he fell 2 weeks ago because the breaks on his chair didn’t work. Tumour still there. He can sit and bathe himself …
06/04/23 - speech even more clear, walking today, has a stronger apetite
