Indigenous Wellness Retreat
Each guest will experience a unique diagnosis from Veda Mahaththaya. After diagnosis, medicines and treatment plans unfold. Each guest will have a unique treatment plan based on their requirement and health condition.
Treatment plan consists of three components
Oral Supplements
Oral medicines are developed for cleansing your body channels and packed with essential nutrients that your body organs require for optimal function and balance. On average you are prescribed around nine oral formulas; liquids, tablets and powders to consume 3x daily pre and post meals. Herbal remedies must be continued for a minimum of one month dependent on your health condition.
External Therapies
Medicated oil massage, herbal powders, herbal steam and herbal bath where your soul will have utmost peace and relaxation. External therapies play a key role in removing toxins from out the body, stimulating blood flow, lymphatic drainage and sweating. Therapy times will depend on patient strength and requirements, between 1 to 3 hours of treatments per day.
Meditation & Relaxation
Strengthening the mind and harnessing mind power energy is a key component when healing with Suwasetha. You will have the opportunity to learn ancient meditation techniques deep rooted in Buddhist philosophy. There is time allocated daily for meditation and relaxation both of which are vital for your healing journey.
Organic & Natural Fresh Food
During your stay, all food will be organic and natural. You will experience native dishes typical to different regions on the island. There will be three meals provided per day with snacks and herbal teas between. We will include certain foods during your stay which include healing properties for your specific disorder. In our booking form you can mention any specific dietary requirements you may have. Aside from the high quality food served, attention to health is delivered in every aspect at Suwasetha, your meals will be served on clay plates which absorbs further any toxins remaining.
Daily Activity
Each guest will have the opportunity, if desired, to assist in some daily activities to learn more about Sri Lankan culture during your stay. This is non-compulsory and can be tailored to your needs. Examples include,
